Start-up businesses are a dime a dozen, offering new products or services that are commonly found. Since many may not be the first in their industry, they have to adjust to the overall market to be better positioned for new customers. As most customers now source products online, this increases the need for search engine optimization (SEO) to ensure that the business’s website gets a good deal of customer traffic.
Running a start-up firm now comes at an opportune time. A Kauffmann Foundation study in 2014 discovered that startups are becoming the new destination of workers who have fallen out of the human resource roster of the more established companies. The study found that most existing companies tend to downsize, collectively removing about a million jobs per year, while start-ups create around 3 million new positions annually.
